What is the difference between an Asus H61, H68 and Z68 motherboard, and what do you recommend?

Q. I want to build my own gaming pc, and I'd like to know what the difference is between those motherboards, and what you recommend , which i should get.

A. H61 / H67 = Has integrated graphics. Does not feature overclocking options.

P67 = Has overclocking options. Does not feature integrated graphics.

Z68 = Features integrated graphics AND overclocking options, and a new feature for solid state drives called 'SSD caching.'

How to install linux on an asus computer without a cd drive or a current operating system?
Q. My friend gave me her computer to try and fix and I'm kind of lost. This is an asus computer without a cd drive and no operating system. Windows was previously install and then was removed. I have a linux CD to try and install but am not sure how to connect my computer to this one to share the cd drive. Any help would be great. Thanks!

A. The simplest option is to install Linux from a USB drive; I don't know which variety of Linux you are planning to use, but Ubuntu has a good guide at the link below.

Good luck!

What is the difference between the regular Asus P6T motherboard and the Asus P6T deluxe motherboard?
Q. The regular one is only $250 while the deluxe version is $300 but i can't point out any obvious differences.

A. The P6T has 8 SATA connectors, the Deluxe has 6. The P6T has one gigabit ethernet port, the Deluxe has dual gigabit ethernet. The P6T has its PCI-express lanes configured only one way for SLI ( x16/x16/x4 mode), the Deluxe offers multiple options ( x16/x16/x1 or x16/x8/x8 modes). The P6T has the Realtek ALC1200 audio chipset, the Deluxe has the ADI AD2000B (both offer 8 channel and I have no idea which is better). The P6T offers S/PDIF outputs (digital and coaxial), the Deluxe doesn't have any S/PDIF outputs.
I've included descriptions of both boards in sources. Just click on the tab marked specifications to check for any other differences. Personally, I'd pay an extra $50 for a second gigabit ethernet port.
Good luck.
