Whats the difference between the Asus 1005peb and the asus pc1018pb?

Q. I bought the netbook Asus 1005peb in june 2010. I love the computer but i saw that asus came out with a new one which is Asus pc1018pb. Just curious...is there any differences between them? I hate technology because you have to keep up with it lol. I hate to know that something out there is better after i just bought something lol. thank u

laptops are way faster and way more advanced.
netbooks are like 10 year old technology that got smaller.

they both have the same cpu
they both have the same ram
both have the same hard drive.
the monitor in yours is better cause its led back lit.
yours has a better graphics card.

How good is the HTC sensation in comparison to the latest android phones?

Q. I'm looking for a new phone, I don't want an iphone and I'm not too keen on the Galaxy S2, but i want an up to date phone. What do you all think of the HTC sensation. Or do you have any other suggestions?

A. The HTC Sensation is a great phone still without a doubt although the newer models have a better chance of getting Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on them which is a huge upgrade to the Android OS. If your not worried about this though you will be happy with the Sensation running Gingerbread.

If you do look at other phones though I would recommend comparing the Sensation to the Samsung Galaxy Note and the Galaxy Nexus.

A. Since the Incredible S isn't out yet, I would wait for them to come out and get some reviews. What carrier you want should also be something to consider.

Comparing the phones themselves on their merits alone (discounting things like carrier and price), I would go with the Incredible S. Performance-wise, they're pretty similar, but the Incredible S is a bit lighter, has a bigger battery, the front-facing camera, and the screen is still pretty big. Does the difference between 4" and 4.3" matter that much?

also, look on your keyboard, there should be a key that has a little sun looking symbol, usually in blue. You have to hold the Fn (function) key while pressing it and it should brighten it up.

How to get my asus CG5270 to run a radeon graphics card?

Q. Hello, I don't have a wide range of knowledge about computers but My Asus CG5270, running on Windows Vista, will not run a Radeon x1950xtx PCIE 512M( Got that from the back serial number). The screen doesn't even turn on when I put the graphics card into my computer. Any suggestions?

A. The video card has an extra port on it that needs to be connected to the power supply directly. There is usually a 4-pin molex connector that should have come in the package if your power supply doesn't have something that plugs in directly. If this is not connected, the video may display a warning or not boot up at all.

How do I get my HTC phone to stop automatically showing messages when received?

Q. When I get texts they pop up on the screen as soon as I get them. This is bad because I have weirdo friends who send pervy messages and my parents wouldn't understand. Another alternative is to find someone who will flash it to Page Plus, a Verizon network reseller. You will be using the same network is Verizon prepaid under a different brand name with different customer service, tech support, etc.
